A sample answers a limited question
Before you select a package, describe what prompted the concern: a past leak, a musty room, visible growth or a follow-up after cleanup. Start with that question so the assessment and any sampling have a clear purpose. A laboratory result needs to be considered with the location, time and inspection observations.
Outdoor spores are part of the environment, and mold can enter a building through openings and ventilation or on people and pets. Comparing indoor and outdoor samples can provide context for an assessment. It does not create a universal pass/fail threshold or certify that a building is safe.

One indoor location is not every room
Our package includes one indoor air sample and one outdoor comparison sample for $495. That scope is a starting point, not a promise that two samples will answer every building question. Tell us which areas concern you and why, then confirm locations with your tester.
An additional indoor air sample costs $69 during the same scheduled inspection and includes collection, laboratory analysis and inclusion in the reviewed report. Adding one makes the package $564: a $282 deposit and $282 remaining before report release once paid booking is open. You approve any changes online before collection.
Sometimes the next step is cleanup, not sampling
EPA explains that visible mold generally does not need sampling and that there are no federal limits for airborne mold. A moisture problem still needs attention even if a test is not purchased. Testing should not hold up reporting an active leak or arranging necessary repairs.
Ask what decision a proposed extra sample would inform. If the answer is unclear, discuss the scope before increasing the count. An independent assessment should make the next step easier to understand.
Know what the report cannot do
A report is a record of the agreed work and findings. It cannot diagnose an allergy, establish the cause of an individual’s symptoms or guarantee that concealed areas are free of growth. Bring health concerns to a clinician and repair questions to the appropriate qualified professional.
We do not perform remediation. If findings call for cleanup, ask us for recommendations for trusted remediation companies. Our booking and payment process is online only; we do not schedule by phone or collect payments at the property.
